We have been providing solutions in the field of industrial/ laboratory temperature and meteorological measurements since starting the business in 1991 under the former name of Otter Instruments. Trading under the present name of BARBER InSys since 2000, we have now added thermal imaging surveys, thermal imaging cameras, temperature instruments for the food industry, medical thermography systems, thermal imaging surveys, calibration management software and pharmaceutical cleanroom monitoring instrumetation to our range of products & services.

We work closely with system integrators, supplying them with specialised components for RWIS or other environmental applications.

We pride ourselves in finding the best technical solution that either meets or exceeds our customers expectation and usually within our clients initial budget calculatiuons.

Representing a selection of world respected manufacturers (mostly European), many on an exclusive basis, means we have extensive technical resources at our disposal.

As an SME, we have the flexibility to respond to the majority of enquiries within the same day.

We were previously ISO9001 acreddited and continue to operate under the same in house quality system.

Caring for the environment

We have an in house policy of recycling packaging material where we can and turning off electrical equipment when not in use.

We have taken the WEEE issue seriously and have joined a national scheme for product end of life management. Our Environment Agency Registration Number is WEE/HK0003ZR

We are also endeavouring to supply product that have been manufactured and transported from no further than Europe.
