 Disease Management Models:

 Whilst it was common in the first generation of weather stations to calculate the disease directly within the measuring instruments, the following approach now prevails:

-Flexible measurement stations with the goal of creating a measurement network to cover an entire surface area.

-Frequent measurement data polling.

-Calculation of disease-forecasting models with the support of "local" (country specific) Universities and Research Institutions.

-Distribution of measurement data including the calculated disease models via the Internet.
