On-line High Speed Digital Infrared Pyrometers

Chino Corporation have been designing & manufacturing high precision infrared thermometer measurement technology for many years in addition the the portable hand held types.

Chino have a wide range of on-line infrared thermometers designed to give fast response measurement feedback to process control systems & PLC's. Several different detector types are available to suit individual measurement requirements such as high temperature applications where peak energy measurements can only be accurately measured using the correct detector material & selecting the correct wavelength.

For applications where the optical path can be obscured, such as material deposits on a high temperature vacuum furnace windows etc. dual (two colour) wavelength types are available to overcome measurement errors.

In areas of high ambient temperature and small installation space, the fibre optic cable types with remote converter together with various optics are available.

Air purge & water cooling accessories are available for the IR-BA & IR-CA types.

Chino IR-CA Series:

The IR-CA series is a non-contact and high-speed (3ms) compact radiation thermometer covering medium and high temperature ranges by using the detecting element of InGaAs or Si. The thermometer with converting function has a digital display of temperature, parameter setting keys, and a direct viewfinder.

The thermometer can be mounted at a reasonable distance away due to it's large "distance factor" ( Measurement Spot size = Distance from object/Distance factor).

Chino IR-BA Series:

The IR-BA series is a non-contact and high-speed compact radiation thermometer. The small sized thermometer with built-in signal converting function and 4-20mA output, can easily be installed in narrow places, production lines and small equipment.

A standard speed type and a high-speed type (50ms/95%) are respectively available and small-target/short-distance type and small-target/long-distance type. Special application types for glass, lamp-anneal, film, and burning gas.

Chino IR-FA Series:

The IR-FA series is a fiber optic radiation thermometer featuring multi-function and high-speed response. Three types, single colour type for low temperature, single colour type for medium/high temperature and two colour type, are available. Parameter setting function, signal modulation and analogue output are built in. Various options including lens assembly with finder, laser-spotting function, analogue input and communications interface are available.

Chino IR-SA Series:

The IR-SA series of Infrared Radiation Thermometer provides broad selection of small & robust units to match your on-line applications for non-contact temperature measurement from 0 to 2500°C under harsh environment. Four models are available with mod bus connectivity for parameter setup through remote setting unit or PC.

Chino IR-BA series robust high speed radiation thermometer

The IR-BA & IR-CA series pyrometers have additional options available such as air purge & water cooled housings, soft & hard protective cases, water cooling flanges, power supplies and setting display units. A vast selection of models for glass temperature, Hot Metal Detector (HMD), objects inside furnaces, film temperature, semi conductor production etc.

The fibre types offer flexibility where line of sight is difficult or the ambient temperature is too high for the standard pyrometers.
