Application example:

Simplified clinical thermometry checker for preventing the spread of the new H1N1 influenza at places where many people are going in and out, such as hospitals, schools, research institutes and public buildings. Influenza and SARS have similar initial symptoms such as coughing and sudden fever.

Security heat sensor to detect perimeter intrusion. Alarm can trigger image storage in the sensor. Two pairs of wired external alarm contacts are provided.

WHO (World Health Organization) says the number of swine influenza (H1N1) patients are rapidly increasing in the world. Most of the infections are among young people under the age of 18. Preventing the spread of the disease is urgently needed in hospital, school, research institute and public areas. Influenza and SARS have similar initial symptoms such as coughing and sudden fever.

When infection in Japan was confirmed, the Japanese Government promoted the use of non-contact thermometry for the prevention of contamination from patients as infection precaution.

Simplified clinical thermometry checking using  thermal imaging sensors are just beginning to be adopted for preventing the spread of the new strain of influenza at places where many people are going in and out, such as in hospitals , schools, airport check in counters, factory reception areas, libraries, museums, theatres. In response to this demand, Chino Corporation of Japan have introduced their low cost thermal imaging sensor model TP-L, which is a completely self contained module that can be mounted on a tripod or other fixing. It incorporates built in alarms and two external alarms.

Up to 4 sensors can be connected to a PC via LAN and Viewer Software allows you monitor thermal images, measuring temperature and alarms.

Alarm temperature range:-20 to +300°C.

The main TP-L  thermal imaging sensor advantages are:

? Sensor monitors temperature in real time.

? Helps reduces the risk of spreading the disease.

? Relative low cost compared with traditional thermal imaging cameras.

? Very easy to implement and configure using the PC software provided.

? Boost your company image with early introduction.

Re export of these cameras to countries outside the European Union may require a UK government export licence.
