VarioCAM® head

New! Uncooled microbolometer thermographic system

The new thermographic system VarioCAM® head manufactured by JENOPTIK Laser, Optik, Systeme GmbH offers a wide range of applications

Technical data and interfaces

The camera system is calibrated for a temperature range of (-40 ... 1200) °C (standard optional > 2000 °C).
The VarioCAM® head is working in the long wave spectral range of (8 ... 13) µm and has a thermal resolution better than 0.1 K @ 30 °C. The change of calibration range and focus can be realized by FireWire remote control.
Several versions of VarioCAM® head are available.

Universal industrial and laboratory applications

The new developed, radiometric thermographic system VarioCAM® head based on the advanced microbolometer sensor technology has a resolution of (320 x 240) pixel.
The camera was developed for universal industrial and laboratory appplications. The different versions of the VarioCAM® head make the adaptation to different measuring tasks possible.

Compact and rugged design

The VarioCAM® head has a compact metallic housing for industrial use with protection class IP65.
A protected Compact Flash drive can save the measuring data optionally. The small dimensions of (195x130x90)mm (without lens) and the lightweight of 1.9 kg enable simple installations.
